How we handle data collected through this website.
Effective date: June 4, 2026
This page explains what data Altus Labs collects when you visit altuslabs.ai, how we use it, who we share it with, and how to reach us if you have questions. We've tried to write it in plain language. If anything is unclear, email elicurtin@altuslabs.ai and we'll explain.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you submit the contact form, we receive the email address, subject line, and message you entered. When you book a call through the "Let's Talk" links, you provide your name, email, and meeting details directly to Cal.com on our behalf.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect basic analytics: the pages you visit, your device type, your browser, your approximate location (derived from IP address), and how you arrived at the site (referrer). This is collected through Google Analytics 4 and helps us understand which pages are useful, where visitors come from, and how the site performs.
Cookies. We use a small number of cookies for analytics. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The first time you visit, we'll show a banner asking you to accept analytics cookies. If you don't want to be tracked, you can decline, use your browser's "Do Not Track" setting, or install an ad blocker.
How we use this data
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to inquiries you send through the contact form
- Schedule and prepare for calls you book through Cal.com
- Understand how the site is performing and improve it
- Identify which content and channels are useful so we can do more of what works
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose beyond what's described here.
Third parties we use
We rely on a small set of services to operate the site. Each has its own privacy practices:
- Google Analytics 4 — website analytics. Google Privacy Policy.
- Netlify — hosting and contact form processing. Netlify Privacy Policy.
- Cal.com — meeting scheduling for "Let's Talk" calls. Cal.com Privacy Policy.
- Google Workspace — the email address you contact us at runs through Google Workspace. Workspace Terms.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Correct it if it's inaccurate
- Delete it (we'll honor reasonable deletion requests)
- Opt out of analytics tracking through your browser settings or by declining the cookie banner
To exercise any of these rights, email elicurtin@altuslabs.ai. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Data retention
Contact form submissions are retained in our email and in Netlify's form dashboard until we no longer need them to respond to your inquiry, typically 12-24 months. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics 4 defaults (currently 14 months).
Children
This site is intended for business audiences. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and adjust the effective date at the top. Significant changes will be noted prominently.
